Sam Arrow (They/Them/Theirs) is the founder of Arrow Physical therapy. They started this practice after many years of working in outpatient clinics and being frustrated with limitations on the type of care they would like to provide and eventually when they realized their own queerness, they became frustrated with working in environments that did not support queer therapists or patients. Sam loves being a pelvic floor PT and especially loves being the therapist that makes you feel seen, while helping you figure out what works for you and your body.

Sam studied dance since age 8 and graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance and continues to be involved in the dance community in Phoenix.  They went to PT school at the Arizona School of Health Sciences and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has been treating pelvic floor dysfunction since they graduated in 2010. They have special interests in treating Trans/Non-Binary/Intersex/Gender Expansive individuals of all ages.  They have an additional special interest in treating children with disabilities, especially neurodivergence.  Beyond those interests, they really love getting to know people and finding ways to make them feel better.

They live in the Central Phoenix area with their partner, children and pets. They are also a dance artist and Permanent Artist In Residence (PAIR) with NueBox, a non-profit organization that provides support and rehearsal space for performance artists.
